News Malinsky to Succeed Wilson in WASPs in Bed Natasha Malinsky will succeed Jessica-Snow Wilson in WASPs in Bed when the latter joins the Broadway cast of William Finn's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Wilson will play her final performance in the world premiere of WASPs Sept. 13. Malinsky will begin her run in the limited engagement the following day.

Nicola Berhman, Richard Willis Jr., Kieron Quirke and Paul Murray's romantic comedy WASPs in Bed will play the Beckett Theatre beginning Sept. 5. Directed by Lisa Marie Meller, the production — which runs through Oct. 15 — will also feature David Alan Basche as Allan, Kelly Deadmon as Betsey, Rick Gifford as Bobby, Aylsia Reiner as Raina and Richard Short as Cal.

"Meet Betsey, Bobby and Cal," reads WASPs in Bed press notes, "best friends from college, who haven’t been in the same room since their graduation 10 years ago. But now, Bobby's getting married, Betsey's hosting the celebration at her cabin in the Berkshires and Cal is the best man. With Bobby on the verge of becoming a husband, Betsey married with two kids, and Cal vehemently opposed to the institution of marriage, the fireworks are unforgettable when these three friends reunite over one July 4th weekend."

The creative team for WASPs in Bed — based on an original story by Raja Ogirala and Richard Willis Jr. — includes scenic designer Dustin O'Neill, costume designer Deanna Berg, lighting designer Graham Kindred and sound engineer Andrew Eisele.

In New York Natasha Malinsky has been seen in productions of Why We Have a Body and Three Sisters. Her regional credits include Goodnight Desdemona, King Lear, The Rocky Horror Show, Taming of the Shrew, Say de Kooning, Eleemosynary, Guys and Dolls and The Music Man. Jessica-Snow Wilson has appeared on Broadway in Good Vibrations, Little Shop of Horrors, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Les Misérables as well as the City Center Encores! production of Hair. Off-Broadway the actress was seen in Bingo, Zombie Prom, I Sing and Me and Juliet. Wilson's other theatrical credits include The Wizard of Oz, Grease, Baby and Stars in Your Eyes.

WASPs in Bed will play Mondays and Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8 PM with matinees Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
