PlayBlog   Mamet on The Colbert Report (Video)
Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet visited “The Colbert Report” June 16 for a memorably terse exchange.

Mamet discussed his latest book, “Theatre,” and his current Broadway play, Race, while offering succinct (if slightly tongue-in-cheek) observations on the state of his art and his work. “Directors are mainly useless,” he says, but “I’m a pretty good director.”
