In celebration of its 25th anniversary season, Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York will present a benefit screening of Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet's American Buffalo. The film, which will make its premiere at The French Institute/Alliance Francaise (55 East 59th Street, NYC) on September 12, stars Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Franz and Sean Nelson.

The evening will be hosted by David Mamet, Gregory Mosher (the film producer and recently appointed artistic director of Circle in the Square) and Michael Corrente (director) and will benefit the Ensemble Studio Theatre. Cocktail and buffet reception at Florence Gould Hall will follow the screening.
Showtime is at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30). Tickets are $75 (tax deductible) and can be purchased by calling the Ensemble Studio Theatre at (212) 247-4982. --By Katia Lundy
