To achieve platinum status, a recording must sell one-million units. The Decca Broadway recording of the Benny Andersson-Bjorn Ulvaeus score has been the best-selling cast album for the past three years in the United States and is the most successful cast recording of this century. The original cast recording of Mamma Mia! features Lisa Stokke as Sophie Sheridan, Siobhán McCarthy as Donna Sheridan, Louise Plowright as Tanya, Jenny Galloway as Rosie, Andrew Langtree as Sky, Paul Clarkson as Harry Bright and Hilton McRae as Sam Carmichael. Song titles include "Honey, Honey," "Money, Money, Money," "Thank You for the Music," "Mamma Mia," "Chiquitta," "Dancing Queen," "Lay All Your Love On Me," "Super Trouper," "Gimme! Gimme! Mamma Mia! continues to play Broadway's Winter Garden. The musical celebrated its 1,000th performance there March 4.
