News Mamma Mia!'s Mason Lines Up Concerts for 2007-2008 Celebrated singer-actress Karen Mason, who created the role of Tanya in the Broadway production of Mamma Mia!, heads to Gettysburg, PA, Oct. 5 for a concert with Gregg Edelman and Terri White.

The evening is part of The Gettysburg Festival's Prelude and Portraits Gala Concert; show time is 7:30 PM. For tickets visit www.gettysburgmajestic.org. Mason, who is equally at home on the theatrical and cabaret stage, has also booked several concerts throughout the next few months. From Nov. 1-10, the singing actress will play the Colony Hotel's Royal Room in Palm Beach, CA; call (561) 659-8100 for reservations.

Mason will offer her annual holiday concert Dec. 22 at New York's Symphony Space. Entitled Karen Mason & Friends Holiday Concert, the concerts will be presented at 3 and 8 PM. Mason will then play the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts in Sun City, AZ, Jan. 25-27, 2008; and she will take centerstage at the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, FL, Feb. 24 and 26.

Karen Mason has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins' Broadway and Torch Song Trilogy. Her Off-Broadway credits include And the World Goes 'Round and Carnival, and she has also been seen on the small screen in "Law & Order" and "As the World Turns." A seven-time MAC Award-winning performer, Mason has charmed audiences at Carnegie Hall, Rainbow & Stars, Davenport's and L.A.'s The Cinegrill. Her solo recordings include "The Sweetest of Nights," "When the Sun Comes Out," "Better Days," "Not So Simply Broadway" and "Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!" Her most recent CD is titled "The Sweetest of Nights."

Mason will also perform on the upcoming "Theater at Sea" cruise on the Regent Mariner's "Grand Amazon Adventure," Feb. 27-March 4.
