News Mandy Patinkin Extends Solo Gig Through Oct. 28 Mandy Patinkin's one-man concert show, appropriately titled Mandy Patinkin in Concert, has extended its run at the new Dodger Stages through Oct. 28.

The act, which began Sept. 20, was to have concluded Oct. 17. Paul Ford is at the piano. Patinkin remains best known for the two shows that established his reputation as a musical company star: Evita and Sunday in the Park With George. In recent years, he has concentrated on solo concerts, including Celebrating Sondheim, Mamaloshen and Mandy Patinkin in Concert, which has all played Broadway.

Dodger Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. The 61,300-square-feet of space, owned by Equity Office, contains five performance venues in a former underground movie multiplex and will be completed at a cost of  $20 million.
