Rent's Manley Pope and former A Chorus Line star Priscilla Lopez will join a host of Japanese performers for a concert to benefit The Japanese Community WTC Relief Fund.

Hosted by NY 1 News anchor Roma Torre, the evening — entitled "Thank You, Broadway!" — will be held Nov. 6 at 7:30 PM at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Among the Japanese stars who will fly in to perform are Takuya Kon, Yoko Kon, Kunio Murai, Ran Ohtori, Kaho Shimada and Koji Yamamota. Cumulatively, these actors have appeared in over 150 musicals and plays in Japan.

Sponsored by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York, Inc., the evening of Broadway musical numbers is the final concert in a series of charity events to help support Broadway and New York after the events of Sept. 11. Special invited guests for the evening include families of the New York Fire and Police departments as well as families of the many international victims who were lost last year.

Peter Howard will serve as musical director for "Thank You, Broadway!"; he will be joined by Japanese pianist Ken Shima for this two-piano staging.

Tickets are available by calling International Cultural Productions at (212) 265-1613. Alice Tully Hall is located at 1941 Broadway at 65th Street. —By Andrew Gans
