Seth Rudetsky's weekly cabaret variety show at NYC's Don't Tell Mama, "Seth's Broadway Chatterbox," gets a Beastly guest, April 6, when Terrence Mann arrives, no doubt filled with anecdotes about his stints in Les Miserables (a Tony nominee as Javert) and Beauty and the Beast (a Tony nomination as the latter part of the title). Joining Mann is his real-life wife, actress and dancer Charlotte D’Amboise, now in Chicago and previously seen in Carrie.
According to the Raleigh News and Observer, a ruptured appendix cut short Mann's recent performance in Oklahoma! at North Carolina Theatre, where he serves as artistic director. He was treated at Raleigh Community Hospital and released .
Rudetsky, a comedian and writer for Rosie O'Donnell's TV show, hosts his variety show every Thursday at 6 PM. There's a 2-drink minimum, but the $10 cover charge is donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
