News Manny Igrejas' Shrinkage Premieres Off-Broadway March 31 Shrinkage, an evening of three one-act plays by Manny Igrejas, will debut on March 31 at Manhattan Theatre Source. Lory Henning-Dyson will direct the show, due to run through April 24.

The three plays are linked by the concept of mental health and share a common character: a shrink. In Phyllis and Kirby, a young woman "is thrown by her esteemed psychologist's new approach." Jack and Jane features an actor who is unnerved by a shocking discovery about his therapist. The third work, Margarita, is about a woman, who enlists the help of "a fictional television psychiatrist." The cast of Shrinkage includes Susan Blackwell, Laura Camien, Jeffrey Doornbos, Brian Hotaling and Janet Ward.

Igrejas is known to the theatre community as a press agent whose clients include avant garde auteurs Richard Foreman and Michael Counts. Cast member Doornbos is known to audiences as a member of Blue Man Group, another Igrejas client.
