Cindy Marchionda: Live at the Beechman!, again directed by Andy Gale, will also play Sept. 5, Oct. 17 and Nov. 21. All shows are at 8 PM. "Weaving personal and public events from her life over the last two years, the show touches on everything from new beginnings to dental bills to poignant personal trials," according to production notes. Songwriters represented include Jamie Cullum, Jackson Browne, Leiber & Stoller, The Indigo Girls, John Mayer, Randy Newman, The Beatles, Maltby & Shire and Johnny Mercer.
MAC and Bistro Award winner Ray Fellman is musical director/arranger. Brandon Cutrell and Michael Sheridan will sing back-up vocals.
Marchionda won the Joseph Jefferson Award for playing the title role in Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Apple Tree Theatre in Chicago.
Marchionda's New York credits include The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story Suite and Our Sinatra: A Musical Celebration. She has been seen in the national tour of A Chorus Line as well as in regional productions of Damn Yankees, West Side Story, On the Town, Man of La Mancha and the one-woman musical Early One Morning.
