"All American Girl" Margaret Cho will extend her original six-week engagement at Off-Broadway's Westbeth Theatre Center through Sept. 4. The run was originally set to end July 31. Performances began June 22 with an opening night July 8.

San Francisco native Cho became prominent with TV's "All American Girl," which made her the first Asian-American with her own sitcom. Other appearances have included "Politically Incorrect," "Leno," "Letterman," "Rosie" and "Oprah." Cho, making her theatrical debut, has titled her new piece, "I'm the One That I Want."

Following the Westbeth dates, Cho plans to take the piece to Houston, Austin, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and Washington, DC.
