The show, titled I'm the One That I Want, was scheduled to run through July 31, but press has been so positive and so voluminous, that One has extended until Aug. 14.

San Francisco native Cho became prominent with TV's "All American Girl," which made her the first Asian-American with her own sitcom. Other appearances have included "Politically Incorrect," "Leno," "Letterman," "Rosie" and "Oprah."

The Westbeth has served as the starting place for several Off-Broadway and Broadway shows within the last two years, including Sandra Bernhard's I'm Still Here, Damn It!, Thwak and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
