Obie Award winner Robert Ross Parker directs actor-comedians and licensed NYC tour guides Copeland and Doyle in the comic romp, which includes stories from "the world's largest landfill in Staten Island to the home of the Bronx Bombers" as well as a pre-show lunch.

Here's how the show is billed: "You too can experience the privilege, respect and air of superiority enjoyed by millions who call themselves New Yorkers. But it requires training, even if you were born here. Let us show you how to develop the instincts for disdainful glances, peevish muttering and innate rudeness that distinguish true New Yorkers… How to Be a New Yorker shows audiences everything they ever needed to know about what it takes to be a real New Yorker, or at least not stand out as a tourist."

The creative team includes set designer Nick Francone and costume designer Janell Clingenpeel.

How to Be a New Yorker is produced Off-Broadway by CRC Productions and Marie B Productions.

The performance schedule is Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM with a pre-show lunch beginning at 1:30 PM.

Sofia's Downstairs Theater is located at 221 West 46 Street. For more information and tickets, call (866) 811-4111 or visit How2BeANewYorker.com.
