Film & TV News Margot Robbie Producing New TV Series With Contemporary, Female Focus on Shakespeare The Oscar nominee is currently at work on the new project in Australia.

Oscar nominee Margot Robbie and her production company LuckyChap Entertainment have teamed up with Australian Broadcasting Company, Australian production company Hoodlum (Secrets & Lies), and ABC Studios International on a new Shakespeare-inspired TV series, according to Deadline. The show, to premiere in Australia, will re-imagine various plays by the Bard re-told from contemporary, female perspectives.

The untitled project will be led by a female creative team and will be made up of ten standalone episodes. The different episodes will be penned by a diverse roster of female writers to reflect a variety of cultures and areas within Australia.

Disney Media Distribution will distribute the series internationally.
