The event is the finale of a new festival of readings — called "The First Look Festival" — of Elizabethan plays anchored by star performers. The presentations are open to members, with limited single ticket availability. Turturro, who plays the murderous king, is a CSC regular, with Waiting for Godot and The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui under his belt at that theatre. Margulies, of "ER" fame, has recently returned to the theatre, acting in Ten Unknowns at Lincoln Center and Intrigue with Faye at MCC. She will play Lady Anne.

Also in the cast are Lynn Cohen, Brian Keane, Ronald Guttman, Peter Jacobson, Danile Oreskes, James Joseph O’Neill, Phyllis Somerville and Stephen Barker Turner. Barry Edelstein directs.

The "First Look" series is billed as "staged readings previewing projects in development at the theatre featuring several highly-acclaimed actors in four Elizabethan dramas."

Also presented were Marlowe's The Jew of Malta with Ron Liebman (directed by Kulick), Arden of Faversham by Anonymous with Frances McDormand (directed by Erica Schmidt), and Jonson's Volpone with F. Murray Abraham (directed by Michael Sexton).

Memberships to Classic Stage Company are available for $30 which entitles members to purchase the best seats for $25 per production. For membership and ticket information, call the theatre's box office at (212) 677-4210, ext. 13, visit the theatre in person at 136 East 13th Street, or order online at www.classicstage.org.
