News Marilyn Maye Will Sing Jerry Herman Tunes in New Feinstein's Show Grammy-nominated singer Marilyn Maye will celebrate the 80th birthday of composer-lyricist Jerry Herman during her upcoming engagement at Feinstein's at Loews Regency.

Maye, whose new show is titled The Best Of Times Is Now!, will feature songs from Herman's Mame; Mack and Mabel; Hello, Dolly! and Milk and Honey. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 1-12

Maye will be joined by pianist/conductor Tedd Firth (Billy Stritch on Nov. 8-11), bassist Tom Hubbard and Jim Eklof, her drummer, who is celebrating 50 years with the singer.

Show times are Tuesday-Thursday at 8:30 PM and Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 PM and 10:30 PM. All shows have a $40 cover charge with $60 premium seats available and an additional $25 food and beverage minimum.

Maye's "Too Late Now," recorded on her RCA "The Lamp Is Low" album, was chosen by the Smithsonian Institute and included in its 20th Century permanent collection. She made 76 appearances on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show" and was nominated for a Grammy Award in the mid-1960s as Best New Artist. Maye has also appeared in productions of Can Can, Follies, Mame and Hello, Dolly!
