News Marin Mazzie Is New Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Beginning July 1 Old home week begins at Broadway's Man of La Mancha July 1, as Marin Mazzie joins her frequent co-star Brian Stokes Mitchell on the stage of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Mazzie replaces the Tony-nominated Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Aldonza. Mazzie played opposite Mitchell in Ragtime and Kiss Me, Kate.

Mitchell also received a Tony nomination for his work as Cervantes/Don Quixote. Mastrantonio played her final performance June 29.

Directed by Jonathan Kent with choreography by Luis Perez, the current Man of La Mancha company includes Ernie Sabella, Mark Jacoby, Stephen Bogardus, Don Mayo, Bradley Dean, Natascia Diaz, Olga Merediz, Frederick B. Owens, Jamie Torcellini, Timothy J. Alex, Andy Blankenbuehler, Jamie Karen, Lorin Latarro, Carlos Lopez, Michael X. Martin, Wilson Mendieta, Gregory Mitchell, Richard Montoya, Luis Perez, Michelle Rios, Thom Sesma, Jimmy Smagula, Dennis Stowe and Allyson Tucker.

A three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion, Marin Mazzie's other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! production of Out of this World and Off Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work.

Man of La Mancha plays the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (formerly the Martin Beck Theatre), located in Manhattan at 302 West 45th Street. Tickets are available by calling (212) 239-6200.
