Only weeks after a Pasadena staging of Tom Stoppard's urbane comedy, The Real Thing, Marin Theatre Company of Mill Valley is tackling the play, too. Lee Sankowich directs, Apr. 23-May 24.
Winner of the 1984 Tony Award for best play, The Real Thing tells of two couples searching for true love. Politics and parenthood are also part of the mix in this play by the Czech-born author of Artist Descending A Staircase, India Ink, Arcadia and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
Starring in The Real Thing are Rebecca Dines, Dan Hiatt, Cynthia Bassham, Simon Vance, Steven Bailey, Lizzie Robinson and Derek Cecil.
