Mario Cantone, the comic actor who has performed everything from Sondheim to Shakespeare to solo shows on Broadway, will make his Café Carlyle club debut June 20–23.

His Tony-nominated autobiographical 2004 one-man show, Laugh Whore, was adapted as a special on Showtime. Other stage credits have included Sam Byck in the 2004 revvial of Assassins, Buzz in Terrence McNally’s Love! Valor! Compassion!, and Stephano in Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Public Theater and on Broadway. Cantone might be best-known as Anthony on Sex and the City.

The Café Carlyle performances begin at 8:45 PM. Tickets cost $30–$125 June 20–22, $45–$125 June 23. Reservations can be made by phone at (212) 744-1600 or online via Ticketweb.

Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle hotel, 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
