News   "Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby" Premieres Nov. 1 on VH1

Actor and television host Mario Lopez and his girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, whom he met while performing on Broadway in A Chorus Line, prepare to welcome their baby on the reality series "Saved By The Baby," premiering Nov. 1 at 10:30 PM ET on VH1.

The show depicts the couple's struggle to balance their lives - particularly Lopez's constant personal appearances and work as the host of TV's "Extra" - with the new arrival in their lives. According to previous press notes, “Whether it’s waking up at 3 am or changing diapers between takes on set… for Mario it’s an all-out, no holds barred crash course in fatherhood! With Courtney by his side and VH1 cameras rolling, the new parents are eager to find balance to their new lives while still enjoying their relationship and new addition to their family.” The couple’s daughter, Gia Francesca Lopez, was born Sept. 11 in Burbank, CA.

Lopez is best known for starring as Slater on the sitcom “Saved By the Bell” and for hosting “Extra” and “America’s Best Dance Crew.” Mazza’s Broadway credits include The Little Mermaid and Cry-Baby.
