He joins the existing company that includes Rachel Tucker as Elphaba and Louise Dearman as Glinda, with Julie Legrand as Madame Morrible, Clive Carter as the Wizard and Julian Forsyth as Dr. Dillamond.
Since March 2010, Evans has been starring as Curly in a U.K. tour of Oklahoma! with Marti Webb. In 2009, he was a finalist in "Eurovision - Your Country Needs You" (BBC1) and is shortly to begin filming a new children’s series for Welsh television. His other credits include playing Troy Bolton in High School Musical at the Hammersmith Apollo, Brad Majors in the U.K. tour of The Rocky Horror Show and Caleb in the U.K. tour of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers.
