Sir Ian McDiarmid stars in Rupert Goold and Ben Power's 21st century update of the classic Pirandello drama. Six characters from one play interrupt and invade the rehearsal of another play and demand that their real lives be attended to and that their stories be told. This existential drama asks probing questions about the nature of reality versus illusion, truth versus artifice, and the workings of the creative process.
