Alan Bennett's witty play, which is transferring from the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain, takes place in a British boy's grammar school rife with adolescent anarchy and faculty rivalry, examines the nature of education and how history really happens. A rambunctious group of smart and funny boys are in pursuit of sex, sport and a place at the university. A headmaster is obsessed with results, and a history teacher thinks he’s a fool.
