The American Heartland Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri will present Marriage is Murder May 14- June 27.

Real-life married couple Mark Ciglar and Carrie Dobro team up to play a divorced couple on the edge of death.

In the world of marriage and business, a mystery-writing team -- formerly man and wife -- are demanded to write with each other due to a lucrative writing contract. Only one clause can break this tie that binds: "as long as they both shall live." With passion and suspense, the couple begin to live out their murderous crime tales.

Dobro and Ciglar were married just before rehearsals for Marriage began. Each has an extensive background in theater and entertainment. Dobro has appeared in such shows as "Beverly Hills 90210," "Nightstands" and "Silk Stalkings." Her new television series, "Crusade," will begin airing on TNT this fall. Ciglar, a regular with AHT, was last seen in Dial "M" for Murder. His production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) opened AHT's 1998-99 season.

Marriage is Murder opens May 14 and runs through June 27. Tickets are $12.50-$24.50. For more information or reservations call (816) 842 9999. --By Becki Heller
