The schedule for the week of Sept. 16-23 follows.

Center Stage
Sept. 16: Special guests are Martin Charnin, lyricist of Annie and Two by Two, and record producer Robert Sher, who walk us through the new 30th anniversary recording of Annie with the first-time-on-CD studio cast recording of its doomed sequel, Annie 2, which includes a reunion of various actresses who played the little orphan.

This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, Sept. 16 with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, Sept. 17; 11 PM Wednesday, Sept. 17; 2 PM Thursday, Sept. 18; 11 AM Saturday, Sept. 20; and 4 PM Sunday, Sept. 21.

Sept. 17: The fifth annual New York Music Theatre Festival, birthplace of the musical [title of show], is about to get underway, and Playbill Radio lets [tos] stars Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell introduce a half dozen of this year's crop of musicals in development, including samples from the shows. This week's "Playbill Presents" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, Sept. 17 with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, Sept. 18; 11 PM Thursday, Sept. 18; 2 PM Friday Sept. 19; 4 PM Saturday, Sept. 20; and 11 AM Sunday, Sept. 21.

Composer Spotlight
Sept. 18: A tour through the career of songwriters Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, who wrote I Do! I Do!, Celebration, Philemon and, of course, the longest-running musical in history, The Fantasticks, which recently returned in an Off-Broadway revival.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, Sept. 19; 11 PM Friday, Sept. 19; 8 PM Sunday, Sept. 21; and 2 PM Monday, Sept. 22.

"Theater Talk" on Playbill Radio
Sept. 20: "1599: A Year in The Life of William Shakespeare." A fascinating conversation with Prof. James Shapiro of Columbia University on his book about a key period in the life and career of William Shakespeare.

Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, Sept. 22; and 2 PM Tuesday, Sept. 23.
