Performances begin September 6 for the New York premiere of Mary Jane by Pulitzer Prize finalist Amy Herzog with direction by two-time Obie winner Anne Kauffman. In the title role is Tony and Emmy nominee Carrie Coon (Fargo, The Leftovers, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), who is joined Off-Broadway by Liza Colón-Zayas (Between Riverside and Crazy), Danaya Esperanza (Men on Boats), Susan Pourfar (Tribes), and Brenda Wehle (The Crucible).

The play takes place over a rain-drenched summer in New York City and follows a single mother—Mary Jane—navigating life caring for a sick child.

The production is scheduled to officially open September 25, and will run through October 15.
