News Mary-Louise Parker Play Is a Sellout; Show Extends Off-Broadway Off-Broadway's Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a two-week extension of its sold-out world premiere by Simon Stephens, Heisenberg, starring Tony and Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker and Denis Arndt. The news joins a host of Off-Broadway extensions due to ticket demand, including the Public Theater's The Sound and the Fury and Soho Rep's 10 out of 12.

MTC's production of Heisenberg, by Tony and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens (The Curious Case of the Dog in the Night-Time), will now play through July 11 at the Studio at Stage II. The critically acclaimed production sees Parker and Arndt playing two beguiling strangers who quickly embark on a life-changing journey. Soho Rep also recently announced a third extension of Anne Washburn's 10 out of 12, which will now play through July 18 due to popular demand. Directed by Les Waters, Washburn's latest work follows a stage cast and crew during tech rehearsal and gives the audience a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at theatre making.

The Public Theater joins the list of announcements with a final two-week extension of Elevator Repair Services' revival of The Sound and the Fury, a staged adaptation of William Faulkner's celebrated novel of the same name. The show was originally extended to play through June 27 but will now close July 12.
