Mary McDonnell, an Oscar nominee for Dances With Wolves and Passion Fish, will open in a Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke Sept. 5.
Roundabout Theatre's revival, directed by David Warren (Holiday), began previews Aug. 19, and will complete a limited run by Oct. 13.
The revival also features Harry Hamlin, Ken Jenkins, Roberta Maxwell, Celia Weston, Chad Aaron, Emilio Del Pozo and Adam LeFevre.
Original music and sound are by John Gromada.
The original production opened on Broadway in 1948, but a more famous production opened off-Broadway in the 1950s.
