Master Class is playing an extended engagement at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre through Sept. 4. In addition to Daly, the play stars Sierra Boggess, Clinton Brandhagen, Jeremy Cohen, Alexandra Silber and Garrett Sorenson.

McNally’s play about Maria Callas (Daly), according to MTC, "takes us to one of her famous master classes, where, late in her own career, she dares the next generation to make the same sacrifices and rise to the same heights that made her the most celebrated, the most reviled and the most controversial singer of her time."

The creative team for Master Class includes scenic designer Thomas Lynch, costume designer Martin Pakledinaz, lighting designer David Lander, sound designer Jon Gottlieb and wig designer Paul Huntley.

Master Class is produced by Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, artistic director; Barry Grove, executive producer) by special arrangement with Max Cooper, Maberry Theatricals, Marks-Moore-Turnbull Group and Ted Snowdon.

The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre is located at 261 West 47th Street. For tickets, call (212) 239-6200 or visit www.Telecharge.com. For more information, visit www.ManhattanTheatreClub.com.
