Set to air at 10 PM on the premium cable network, the second season of "Masters of Sex" will welcome a host of stars from the Broadway stage, including series regular Annaleigh Ashford as well as Tony winner Christian Borle and Marin Ireland.
Ireland will play Pauline, wife of Frank, who will be played by Borle. The couple's story follows them seeking help from Masters in conceiving a child.
According to Showtime, Masters and Johnson's "research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a midwestern teaching hospital to the cover of Time magazine and multiple appearances on Johnny Carson's couch. He is a brilliant scientist out of touch with his own feelings, and she is a single working mother ahead of her time. The series chronicles their unusual lives, romance, and unlikely pop culture trajectory."
