News Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers Welcome a Broadway Baby Boy Stage actors and married couple Jenny Powers and Matt Cavenaugh welcomed George Matthew Cavenaugh into the world July 24 at 1:56 AM ET.

George Matthew, who shares a birthday with Powers' father, Dave Powers, weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. and is 20 inches long. Mother and child are doing very well.

"George is definitely soothed by music," Powers told Playbill.com "Singing to him helps with the diaper changing!"

Cavenaugh added, "And he has huge feet, which make us think he could be the next LeBron!"

Jenny Powers has been seen on Broadway in Little Women and as Rizzo in the most recent revival of Grease. She also appeared in the City Center Encores! performances of Of Thee I Sing and Follies. For Powers' theatre recordings, click here.

Matt Cavenaugh was last seen on Broadway as Tony in West Side Story. His other Broadway credits include Grey Gardens, A Catered Affair and Urban Cowboy.
