News Matthew Morrison, Idina Menzel, Petula Clark, Heather Headley, Will Young and More to Perform at This Year's Olivier Awards The line-up for this year's Olivier Awards, being held April 28 at London's Royal Opera House and being broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 and in an edited highlights package on ITV1, will include guest solo performances by Matthew Morrison (marking the first time he has ever performed at a major event in the U.K.), Idina Menzel and Petula Clark.

Amongst the nominees for awards, there will also be performances by Will Young (joined by the company of Cabaret, in which he recently starred in the West End) and Heather Headley (performing "I Will Always Love You" from The Bodyguard).

In addition, the full companies of A Chorus Line and Top Hat will perform specially created pieces for the awards night, and James Bourne will give a performance from Loserville, the Olivier-nominated show he wrote the score of. Further show extracts are still to be announced.

Guest presenters for the awards include Kim Cattrall, Lee Evans, Romola Garai, Lily James, Myleene Klass, Damian Lewis, Tim Minchin, Arlene Phillips, Daniel Radcliffe and David Suchet.

In Covent Garden Piazza, the BBC Radio 2 Stage will be hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Michael Xavier with performances from West End shows, other entertainment and the full ceremony live on big screens.

As previously announced, Hugh Bonneville and Sheridan Smith will host proceedings with voiceover by Julia McKenzie

The BBC Concert Orchestra will be playing live for all performances under the musical direction of David Charles Abell.
