The New York Pops will return to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens this summer for a concert starring Tony nominee Matthew Morrison and another special guest yet to be announced. The one-night-only, family-friendly event will take place July 7 in the open-air venue and is set to feature a 78-piece orchestra.

“I am beyond thrilled to return to the stadium – we had such a blast last summer, and I know that the orchestra and Matthew are going to knock it out of the park in July!” said music director Steven Reineke in a statement. “Matthew’s performances with us in December 2014 were absolutely electric. We played two sold-out nights at Carnegie Hall. I am glad he will bring his larger-than-life talent to join our full orchestra in this incredible venue. And in case you’re not excited enough, keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of our other special guest!”

The concert will also continue its Kids in the Balcony program, offering 1,000 children an opportunity to attend and learn about live music for free.

Tickets, from $15, are on sale at foresthillsstadium.com.
