Also scheduled to perform are Benjamin Schrader and Gwen Hollander, who were recently seen in the Barrington Stage Company's production of See Rock City.

In addition to talking about their careers, Maltby and Shire will also perform several songs, including two from their newest musical, Take Flight, which made its world premiere in London. Together, Maltby and Shire have also penned the musicals Baby and Big.

The Broadway Close Up series will conclude Dec. 8 with the annual Bound for Broadway concert. Liz Callaway will again host the evening, which will feature songs from five new musicals and interviews with the writers of these new shows.
