News McBroom, Laramie Project and Fantasticks to Play Barrington Stage Company Barrington Stage Company's upcoming shows will include Moisés Kaufman's Laramie Project: Ten Years Later in October.

The fall season will begin with Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's romantic musical The Fantasticks, which runs Oct. 7-18. Andrew Volkoff stages the long-running Off-Broadway hit that officially opens Oct. 10 on the BSC Mainstage in Pittsfield, MA. Kaufman's Laramie Project: Ten Years Later, the epilogue to the 2000 Tectonic Theater Project docudrama based on the brutal murder of gay student Matthew Shepard in 1998, will take place Oct. 12. Barrington is among 100 theatres across the country that will take part in the special presentation that commemorates the tenth anniversary of Shepard's death. Richard M. Parison directs the performances that take place at 3 PM and 7 PM on the BSC Mainstage.

The final offering will be a new cabaret from singer-songwriter Amanda McBroom ("The Rose," "Portrait") on Oct. 23 and 24 at 8 PM in the BSC's Stage 2.
