News McCollum, Stone and Landesman to Speak at Commercial Theater Institute May 4-6 Interested in becoming a Broadway or Off-Broadway producer? The Commercial Theater Institute (CTI) will offer its annual three-day intensive training program "Producing for the Commercial Theater" at New World Stages May 4-6.

McCollum (producer of Rent, Avenue Q, The Drowsy Chaperone) and David Stone (producer of Wicked, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) will appear on a panel called "Creative Producing." Landesman, the president of Jujamcyn Theaters, will give a speech entitled "Why Produce?" Other producers, general managers, artistic directors, agents and press agents who will speak throughout the weekend will include Jed Bernstein (CTI's program director), Marty Bell, Neil Pepe, Todd Haimes, Roy Gabay, Ben Sprecher, Abbie Strassler, Roy Furman, Ted Chapin, Stuart Thompson, Harriet Leve, John Barlow, Richard Kornberg, John Buzzetti, David Kalodner, Mark Sendroff and many others.

Founded by the late Frederic B. Vogel in 1982, CTI is a program of The League of American Theatres and Producers and the Theatre Development Fund.
