Several of Broadway and cabaret's finest will be featured in this summer's Desisto Cabaret Series in Stockbridge, MA.

The annual series kicks off the weekend of July 4 with Karen Akers, who recently concluded a month-long gig at New York's Algonquin Hotel. Akers, who starred on Broadway in Nine and Grand Hotel, will reprise her critically acclaimed show, "When Love Speaks to You," at the Massachusetts nightspot. Jeanne Ressua headlines the July 12 weekend, and veteran singer Margaret Whiting, who will be joined by Paul Bernhardt, plays the room on July 19 and 20. MAC Award winner and New York favorite Jeff Harnar is scheduled to sing July 26 and 27.

August brings four show-stopping gals to the Desisto: Tovah Feldshuh, Ann Hampton Callaway, Karen Mason and Donna McKechnie. Feldshuh, who is currently appearing in the hit film "Kissing Jessica Stein," will visit Stockbridge on Aug. 2 and 3. Callaway, who nabbed a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in Swing!, will entertain on Aug. 16 and 17. Mason, the current star of Broadway's Mamma Mia!, will belt some tunes on Aug. 23 and 24, and McKechnie will close the summer series with her one woman show, "My Musical Comedy Life."
