The 7:30 PM Jan. 28 performance is a one-night-only event at The Capri Theatre in downtown Shreveport. Local audiences saw McKecknie star as Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie during River City Rep's inaugural season.
In Gypsy in My Soul, McKechnie takes the audience on a backstage tour of life on the road, sharing anecdotes, songs and dance numbers from her celebrated theatrical career, which includes productions of Sweet Charity, Company, Follies, How to Succeed…, Promises, Promises and State Fair.
The Louisiana appearance precedes a Dallas engagement of the show.
