Death pays a visit Oct. 21 on "Theater Talk" hosts, producer Susan Haskins and New York Post columnist Michael Riedel, when actors Ian McKellen, Helen Mirren and David Strathairn take a seat on the popular PBS theatre-base talk show. All three are currently starring the well-received Broadway production of August Strindberg's classic, Dance of Death. Also on the program will be choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Mitchell—who is responsible for the footwork of Broadway's The Full Monty and The Rocky Horror Show—will talk about his staging of the "I Love New York" commercial. The spot collected the casts of many Broadway shows in Duffy Square just 10 days after the World Trade Center. attacks. Toàêer the actors sang "New York, New York" in an effort to convince audiences to return to Times Square.
