"When campus veterans George and Martha invite new arrivals Nick and Honey for late-night cocktails, the older couple becomes the host and hostess from hell as games and gossip give way to private grievances and painful secrets," according to press notes. "Albee's harrowing masterpiece is a wickedly funny and shamelessly in-your-face look at marital cold war turned hot."
