Me The People: The Trump America Musical, a new musical revue with book and lyrics by Nancy Holson (Bush Wars, The News in Revue on PBS), officially opens its open-ended engagement June 29 at The Triad on West 72nd Street. The show, directed and choreographed by Jay Falzone, began performances June 22.

The cast is made up of Aiesha Alia Dukes, Mitchel Kawash, Richard Spitaletta, and Mia Weinberge.

Me The People: The Trump America Musical is conceived by Nancy Holson, Jay Falzone, and Jim Russek, who produces.

Russek, Falzone, and Holson reunite after bringing 2006's musical satire Bush Wars to the stage.

“There is a long-standing tradition of countering our darkest moments with political satire,” comments Russek in a press statement. “From Will Rogers and Lenny Bruce to Tom Lehrer and today's late-night comics, laughter has always been a first amendment weapon of choice.”

The Off-Broadway production features costume design by Stephen Smith (The Umbrella Plays), lighting and sound by Shannon Epstein (Celebrity Autobiography), prop design by Max Kilsheimer (Medea), and wig design by Kathy Pecevich. James Higgins (Jeanne La Pucelle, Old Jews Telling Jokes, Ragtime) serves as musical director and arranger, Dana Robbins is the production stage manager, and David Rigano is the assistant director.
