The theatre community will pay homage to Canada's foremost pop-punk star this summer at Feinstein's/54 Below. Among the lineup for 54 Sings Avril Lavigne, set for July 25 at 9:30 PM, is Krystina Alabado, currently starring in Broadway's Mean Girls as Gretchen Wieners.
The roster also includes Max Sheldon (Finian's Rainbow), Susie Carroll (The Prom), Diana Huey (The Little Mermaid), Samantha Littleford (American Idiot), Tom McGovern (The Office! A Parody Musical), Allsun O’Malley (Avenue Q), Alexia Sielo (We Are The Tigers), Talia Suskauer (Be More Chill), Zurin Villanueva (Clueless), and Diamond Essence White (Dear Evan Hansen). On backup vocals will be Liam Allen, Roger Dawley, Kamryn Harris, Ayden Lowe, Joe Veale, and Suzi Weisberg.
Directed and produced by Benjamin Nissen, the concert will feature highlights from the Grammy nominee's two-decade career, including such songs as "Sk8er Boi," "Complicated," and "Girlfriend."
