Industry News Mean Girls Star Taylor Louderman Holding Songwriting Contest for Musical Theatre Songwriters The contest offers winners the opportunity to have their material recorded and filmed in-studio and distributed through Ghostlight Records.

Tony nominee Taylor Louderman has teamed up with industry friends Benjamin Rauhala, Matt Rodin, Nikhil Saboo, and Ghostlight Records to give three musical songwriters the chance to have their original song recorded and filmed in-studio, performed by the Mean Girls star herself.

Submissions for the songwriting contest, Write Out Loud, are now open and accepted through January 31. Original songs should be recorded as an audio file and uploaded to Soundcloud, Youtube, Dropbox, or Google Drive and submitted here.

Three winners will receive a filmed day in a Manhattan studio (travel not included); an edited in-studio music video of the original song on Youtube; and song distribution from Ghostlight Records.
