Goldstein, a new musical with a score by Michael Roberts and a book by Charlie Schulman, will begin performances March 26 prior to an official opening April 5 at the Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th St.
The cast, under the direction of Brad Rouse, will include Megan McGinnis

(Fun Home, Gentleman’s Guide). Musical staging is by Sarah O’Gleby.
In the new musical, Louis Goldstein has written a tell-all family memoir. While it’s a best-seller, his family claims that it isn’t true. Goldstein explores the challenges and triumphs of three generations of an immigrant Jewish-American family.
The production will also have set design by Jean Kim, costume design by Maureen Freedman, lighting design by Andrew Griffin, and sound design by Ray Shilke. Sinai

The show is an autobiographical stand-up comedy show exploring Ricky Sim's decision to come out as gay to his terminally ill Chinese-Malaysian immigrant mother.
