News   Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman to Co-Star in Sharr White's Annapurna Off-Broadway Emmy Award winner Megan Mullally and her husband Nick Offerman will star as estranged lovers in the New York premiere of Sharr White's Annapurna, which has been announced as the third production of the New Group's 2013-14 Off-Broadway season.

Bart DeLorenzo will stage the production that begins April 13, 2014, at the Acorn Theatre. It will run through June 1. White is also the playwright of The Other Place and the current Broadway drama The Snow Geese.

Mullally ("Will & Grace," Young Frankenstein, How to Succeed...) and Offerman ("Parks and Recreation") also starred in a Los Angeles run of Annapurna at the Odyssey Theatre last spring. White's play had its world premiere at San Francisco's Magic Theatre in 2011.

Here's how it's billed: "Twenty years ago, Emma (Mullally) walked out on her husband, cowboy-poet Ulysses (Offerman), in the middle of the night. Now hearing he's in dire straits, she tracks him down in the wilds of Colorado in a grungy trailer, working on his magnum opus, hooked to an oxygen tank, and cooking in the buff. Their reunion, charged by rage and compassion, brings back the worst and best of their former bond."

The New Group season also features the New York premiere of Beth Henley's The Jacksonian and the world premiere of Thomas Bradshaw's Intimacy.
