The latest casting of The Vagina Monologues has been announced for the show's return to the New Ambassadors Theatre on Feb. 26. The Spice Girls' Melanie B (aka Scary Spice) is expected to join the cast. Supermodel Naomi Campbell is skedded to join the cast as of March 25. Further casting information is yet to be announced.
The current cast of The Vagina Monologues includes Lisa Stansfield, Anita Dobson and Cecilia Noble who will be performing at the Arts Theatre until Feb. 23.
Monologues began its life in the West End last year at the New Ambassador's. The show then transferred from the New Ambassador's to the Arts Theatre, and has been playing on an extended run at the Arts since October 2001. The Vagina Monologues is to close at the Arts on 23rd February 2002, but its run will continue to extend as the show moves back to its original West End venue in no time at all.
