News Mel Brooks Is Back in the Saddle Again Tonight Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center presents a screening of Mel Brooks' celebrated comedy "Blazing Saddles," followed by a Q & A with the multi-talented star, live onstage Feb. 6.

Back in the Saddle Again kicks off at 7:30 PM in the Concert Hall. Following the film, the Kennedy Center Honoree will share behind-the-scenes stories from his life and career.

The one-night-only event is part of the Comedy at the Kennedy Center series. The slate also features the Center’s first District of Comedy Festival from June 22-25 featuring Jane Lynch; a new collaboration with The Second City; as well as performances by Tracy Morgan, Maz Jobrani and Miranda Sings.

Director, producer, writer and actor Brooks is the recipient of an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and two Tony Awards. His Broadway hit The Producers, which ran for six years, holds the record for the most Tony Awards ever won by a production.
