Playwright Edward Albee will be the topic at hand on the Nov. 11 edition of "Theater Talk," the popular PBS show devoted to the world of the stage, hosted by Michael Riedel of The New York Post and Susan Haskins.

Author and New York Times scribe Mel Gussow will discuss the playwright, the subject on his recent biography "Edward Albee: A Singular Journey." Albee in the notoriously irascible author of such classic plays as Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Zoo Story and Three Tall Women. Gussow, who has known Albee since the early '60s, has been writing for the Times nearly as long.

The show will re-air on MetroArts Thirteen, Saturday, at 10 PM (check local Cablevision listings for time and channel); and Friday at 12:30 AM in Boston on WGBH.
