Another Tony-winning diva will take to the small stage of Arci’s Place beginning March 20. Following in the footsteps of Christine Ebersole and Donna McKechnie, Melba Moore will perform at the colorful boîte from March 20 through March 30.

Moore’s new show, Once More with Love, will feature standards from George Gershwin, Harold Arlen and Cole Porter as well as a medley of tunes from Hair, a musical that Moore appeared in at the beginning of her career. The Tony winning Purlie star will also belt her big number from Purlie, “I Got Love.”

Moore was last on Broadway in Les Misérables portraying the ill-fated Fantine, and she recently released her first solo recording in over a decade, “I’m Still Here.” A singer with a multi-octave range, Moore began her career as a back-up singer for the likes of Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick and Liza Minnelli. Her work in the original company of Hair led to Purlie, and since then Moore has performed in concert arenas throughout the world. Her R&B hits include “I Am His Lady,” “Falling” and “Read My Lips,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Arci’s Place is located at 450 Park Avenue South at 30th Street. Show times are 8 PM Wednesday through Friday evenings and 8:30 and 11 PM on Saturday nights; call (212) 532-4370 for reservations.
