News Melbourne Theatre Company to Feature Once and Pennsylvania Avenue in 2014 Season Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) will feature Once and Pennsylvania Avenue in its 2014 season.

The season will also feature Noel Coward's Private Lives (Jan. 25-March 8), David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross (July 5-Aug. 9) and John Logan's I'll Eat You Last (Oct. 30-Dec.20). 

In previous seasons, MTC has offered the Tony-winning Next to Normal and The Drowsy Chaperone.

Once, based on the motion picture, will be directed by original Broadway director John Tiffany. The Broadway production was the recipient of eight Tony Awards. Once will play the Princess Theatre in Melbourne Oct. 1, 2014-Nov. 9, with an official opening Oct 4.

Pennsylvania Avenue will reunite collaborators Joanna Murray-Smith, Simon Phillips and Bernadette Robinson, who previously worked together on Songs for Nobodies. The production will play the Southbank Theatre at the Sumner Nov. 8-Dec. 20.
